The Aging Institute is a joint venture of the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC. Its laboratories occupy roughly 31,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities on the fourth and fifth floors of Bridgeside Point, a five-story research building on the 2nd Avenue campus of the University of Pittsburgh.

The Aging Institute brings together a multidisciplinary team of scientists having primary appointments in either a basic science or clinical division. This Institute is a highly collaborative and interactive environment with laboratories focused on how and why we age.
